Day 1: Puerto Natales - Las Torres Patagonia

Trekking to Las Torres Base

Description of the Day:

Your adventure on the W Circuit begins in the city of Puerto Natales, where you will receive a welcome email with all the technical information necessary to prepare your trip. The program executives will coordinate the delivery of your welcome kit and vouchers. This day involves the transfer to the Torres del Paine National Park, a journey of approximately two and a half hours (112 km) by bus. This transfer allows you to enjoy the Patagonian landscape and takes you directly to the Central Sector of the park where you will have dinner and spend the night.

Activities: Bus transfer from Puerto Natales at 2:30 p.m.

Optional: If you arrive early, you can enjoy horseback riding or climbing excursions (they must be requested in advance and require taking the bus at 07:00 hrs).

Day 2: Las Torres Base Viewpoint

Description of the Day:

This is one of the most outstanding days of the W Circuit. The day begins with an ascending walk through the Patagonian pampas. The trail steepens as you progress towards the Ascencio Valley, offering spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and lakes from Paso de Los Vientos. The hike takes you through the Chilean Sector and a native beech forest before reaching the final stretch, which is a rocky climb of about an hour. At the end, the impressive view of the three iconic granite towers and their glacial lagoon awaits you.

Activities: Trekking of 8-10 hours, 19.5 km.

Difficulty: High (Initial Altitude: 120 meters above sea level, Maximum: 870 meters above sea level).

Day 3: Trekking to French Sector

Description of the Day:

The third day takes you along the quiet shore of Lake Nordenskjöld, at the foot of the imposing Mount Almirante Nieto and its hanging glaciers. This section of the route is more relaxed, allowing you to enjoy the silence of the enormous peaks and the turquoise lake. It is a perfect day for bird watching, especially condors. The Arriero River along the way offers an ideal place to rest, recharge energy and fill your water bottle. The day culminates with impressive views of the lake and the French Glacier on Cerro Paine Grande.

Activities: Trekking of 4.5-6.5 hours, 13.5 km.

Difficulty: Medium (Cumulative height: 200 meters).

Day 4: French Valley Trekking

Trekking to the French Valley

Description of the Day:

The fourth day is a total immersion in Patagonian nature. Starting with a light trek to Camping Italiano, this day is ideal to relax and process the experiences of the previous days. The tour passes by a surprising waterfall, where you can fill your bottle with pure, cold water, and takes you through varied and abundant vegetation that revitalizes your energy. The final destination is the Valle del Francés viewpoint, one of the most impressive points of the entire circuit, with panoramic views that will leave you breathless.

Activities: Trekking of 8-10 hours, 20.5 km.

Difficulty: High (Initial Altitude: 120 meters above sea level, Maximum: 762 meters above sea level).

Accommodation: Paine Grande.

Day 5: Trekking to the Gray Glacier sector - Navigation on Pehoé Lake - Puerto Natales

Description of the Day:

The final day of the W Circuit takes you through a variety of landscapes, from native forests to the shores of Lake Gray. Along the way, you can enjoy views of glaciers and see pieces of Gray Glacier floating in the lake. The walk concludes with an exciting navigation through Lake Pehoé, providing a unique perspective of the landscape before returning by bus to Puerto Natales. This day is a perfect combination of adventure and reflection on the magnificent experience lived.

Difficulty: High (Initial Altitude: 43 meters above sea level, Maximum: 313 meters above sea level).

Return: Navigation through Lake Pehoé and bus to Puerto Natales.
