Australis Cruise
The Australis Cruise Route
The cruise departs from Punta Arenas in Chile or Ushuaia in Argentina and sails through the Strait of Magellan and the Beagle Channel, offering passengers the opportunity to discover some of the most impressive and remote landscapes in the world.
The journey takes place through canals, bays, fjords and glaciers, snow-capped mountains, islands and forests of incomparable beauty never before explored.
You will be able to see penguins, elephant seals and sea lions.
And the imposing glaciers Serrano, D'Agostini, Águila, Pia, Garibaldi among others, will witness your steps, forever engraving their majesty in your memory.
Can you visit Cape Horn?
The idea is always to visit Cape Horn, but sometimes the weather doesn't allow it.
And remember that every day you can enjoy shore excursions where the Australis Cruise guides will teach you about the flora and fauna of the area, as well as the history of the first inhabitants of Patagonia.

And in addition to the sailing experience itself, the Australis Cruise also offers a unique opportunity to learn about the history of the region. On board, passengers can attend talks and lectures about Darwin's expedition in the region and the culture of the indigenous people who have inhabited this area for centuries.
In short, this will be one of your most pleasant and unforgettable experiences aboard Australis Cruises.
Because it has the exact duration
The Australis cruise is also a very interesting cruise because 4 nights of travel is the exact duration to be on board (in my opinion)
When you start to get a little tired of being on the boat you have to get off :-)
What are the ships: the Stella Australis and the Ventus Australis
The cruise has two ships: the Stella Australis and the Ventus Australis, both with a capacity for 210 passengers each. These boats are designed to provide a luxurious experience while sailing through some of the most spectacular landscapes of Chilean and Argentine Patagonia.

Same cabins: Choosing a cabin is very easy!
All cabins on the boat are the same and have the same amenities.
The only thing that changes is the deck on which they are located, the boats have 3 floors, the most expensive cabins correspond to the highest floors of the boat.
What is an exploration cruise?
This is what this type of cruise is called. It is not a Luxury cruise and it is not an Extreme Adventure cruise (Antarctica)
It is something intermediate, where you will enjoy a smooth ride, the boat moves little for the area it covers and you will always be well served by the crew (Buffet and Open Bar)
Border crossing with Australis: From Argentina to Chile and vice versa
Let's not forget that the ship also makes a logistical transfer between two points in Argentina and Chile.
In short, the Australis Cruise is a unique experience for those looking to explore the natural beauty of Chilean and Argentine Patagonia while enjoying a luxury experience.
With its combination of outdoor activities, local cuisine and the opportunity to learn about the history of the region, the Australis Cruise is an unforgettable trip worth taking.
